Once Dr. Stresemann arrives at your home she will spend time with you and your pet to learn how to best care for them. She will guide you through the process and answer any questions that arise.

All Peaceful Passing appointments include:

  • Pre-visit communications with Dr. Stresemann 
  • A visit to your home or other location of choice
  • Sedation to provide comfort for your pet
  • A peaceful euthanasia 
  • Pet loss and grief support

Quality of Life Consultations

This is certainly one of the hardest decisions most families have to make when it comes to their pets and there is also often not a straight answer to this question. It is important to consider many factors that contribute to a pet’s quality of life.

Peaceful Passing is your resource and will provide guidance to help you make an informed and compassionate decision. We’ll consider your pet’s overall well-being, including their attitude, mobility, appetite, cognitive changes, and any symptoms from existing medical conditions. We understand how difficult it is to find the right time—not too soon, and not too late. We're here to help.

  • Euthanasia Only (no cremation)
    $325+

    This option is for families that have arranged their own aftercare for their pet and will not require transportation assistance.

    For home burials please adhere to all county and state regulations in regards to environmental safety.

  • Euthanasia and Communal Cremation
    $425+

    This option is for families that request cremation of their pet, but do not elect to have ashes returned. Once passed, the pets are taken to our partnering crematorium, Nature’s Way Pet Aftercare, where they are respectfully cremated with other pets. The ashes are then spread over a serene private woods in Southern Michigan.

  • Euthanasia and Individual Cremation
    $550+

    This option is for families that choose to have ashes returned to them. Pets are cremated individually and the ashes are contained in an urn chosen by the family.

    A ceramic clay paw print impression and lock of fur are also included with this package. The ashes are typically available for pickup at Nature’s Way Pet Aftercare in 5-10 days.
